Quality assurance testing
3 roles. Aligned with the UK GDaD PCF Quality assurance testing (QAT) family.
Quality assurance test analyst
Quality assurance test analysts check that the organization's digital health services do what patients, clinicians, and care staff need, safely and reliably. They analyze requirements and designs to find risks early, design and run functional and non-functional tests, and report defects clearly. In health care this includes testing clinical workflows, data accuracy, and the controls that protect patients from harm.
Test engineer
Test engineers build the automated tests, tools, and frameworks that let teams test the organization's digital health services quickly and often. They write code to test functions, integrations, performance, security, and resilience, and build testing into delivery pipelines, so that changes to clinical and patient-facing systems can be released safely.

In health care this includes making sure testing supports the clinical safety case and any regulatory requirements.
