সার্ভিস ডিজাইনাররা স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিচর্যা সেবা শুরু থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত ডিজাইন করেন, কেউ প্রথম সাহায্যের প্রয়োজন বোধ করার মুহূর্ত থেকে তাঁর পরিচর্যার শেষ পর্যন্ত, ডিজিটাল, ফোন, কাগজ ও সরাসরি মাধ্যমজুড়ে। তাঁরা রোগী, পরিচর্যাদাতা, চিকিৎসক ও পরিচর্যাকর্মীদের সাথে কাজ করে সেবা বাস্তবে কীভাবে কাজ করে তা ম্যাপ করেন, কোথায় সেবা মানুষকে ব্যর্থ করে তা খুঁজে বের করেন, এবং নিরাপদ, সহজ ও ন্যায্য সেবা ডিজাইন করেন যা প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক সীমানা পেরিয়ে কাজ করে।
